  5.                ALWAYS BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING NEW VERSIONS !!

  7.      v1.2 Major Changes to the Config file. See Docs, read "Blackout Periods"

  9.      v1.3 This version requires that you run a program called MMCONV.EXE.
  10.           It will convert your MAST.DAT (user database file) to allow for the
  11.           addition of the 3 lines of personal narrative your users can now
  12.           enter. All you do is execute the MMCONV in the same directory as the
  13.           MMAST.DAT file. When it is finished you will not have to ever run it
  14.           again. ONLY VALID IF YOU HAVE BEEN RUNNING v1.0,1.1 or 1.2.

  16.           IF YOU ARE INSTALLING v1.3 or later, FOR THE FIRST TIME, DO NOT
  17.           RUN THE CONVERSION PROGRAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19.      v1.5 Configuration file change to eliminate Adopt-A-Door entry, Add
  20.           another entry for Message Center Functions and yet another option to
  21.           control number of messages allowed in database. SEE DOCS!

  23.           Another CONVERSION pgm needs to be run (MMIXCVRT) to convert existing
  24.           MMAST.INX files.!!!!!! If upgrading from v1.4 or earlier, you MUST
  25.           run the conversion program.

  30.      v1.7 If you have an existing Message base, you MUST run MMAINT and select
  31.           option #3 (Recreate Message Indexes).

  38.            You MUST run MMDATCVT.EXE to convert your EXISITING MMAST.DAT
  39.            database file. DO NOT run it more than ONCE!

  41.            The EXE files are much larger than prior versions. We are now
  42.            using a new version of the programming language as well as
  43.            incorporating the RUN TIME modules into the EXE's. This will
  44.            result in faster EXE loading and execution.

  46.            Once you have performed the conversion, you may delete all the EXE's
  47.            EXCEPT for MMAKER.EXE and MMAINT.EXE

  49. ====> v3.1 The following procedeure must be followed to upgrade to v3.1:
  50.            (a) Backup the entire MatchMaker Directory
  51.            (b) Run MM31CVT.EXE to convert the MatchMaker database. Please note
  52.                that this will also DELETE your exisitng message database.
  53.            (c) Update the MatchMaker configuration file(s) with 2 additional
  54.                entries. See documentation for the changes.
  55.            (d) Run the maintenance (MMAINT) program and choose option # 7 to
  56.                create downloadable question files AND choose option #5 to
  57.                recreate the User Indexes.
  58.            (e) Review the PROTOCOL.DAT file in conjunction with the MatchMaker
  59.                documentation and make any changes to reflect the file transfer
  60.                protocols you wish to support. Also be sure to check out the
  61.                supplied protocol batch files for any changes. If you add any
  62.                protocols, be SURE to ADD the corresponding batch files.
